There are a man and a woman, whose expression look awkward, surrounded by clusters of flowers. Those flowers, with fascinating color, frame the whole picture. Behind the man and the woman, there are many people swimming with the same position. From the man’s and the woman’s faces, they seem want to capture each other’s attention.
The whole picture looks so surreal. Not only because of those over emphasized and saturated color, but because of the weird atmosphere make me impressed. Actually, most of Fang Lijuin’s works are unnamed, which add more mystery and controversy to him as well as his works. Also, the unnamed works leave more imaginary spaces and explanations to the one who appreciate his paintings. I think maybe it’s about love or his own love experience. However, I can never have definite answer because that’s what Fang Lijuin wants and what he’s good at.
